Immediate need for a talented DB2 DBA / DB2 Database Administrator with experience in the industry.This is Fulltime opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Greater Washington DC area - currently remote but need LOCAL candidate in the event Client ask them to come to office. Pay Range: $90k - $100k/Annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Note: Clearance: Active clearance is not required but must be eligible to clear.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Required skills: DB2 , Linux , AIX.
• Implementation and Maintenance of IBM Directory Server
• DB2 10.5 -> 11.5 Migration and Fix Pack Installation
• DRDA Federation Design/Implementation
• Experience with DB2 on AIX and Linux platforms
• DB2 Replication Design/Implementation
• High Availability: HADR, HACMP
• Disaster Recovery Procedures - Log Shipping, HADR
• Experience with Migrating database between AIX and Linux environments
• DB2 Auditing Implementation and Management
• Experience with AWS Database Management
• Performance Monitoring using DB2 native tools and/or SolarWinds
• Performance Troubleshooting and SQL Tuning
• Configure and maintain schemas, table spaces, tables, indexes, buffer pools and log
• Production Change Implementation - ServiceNow
• Evening and Weekend Maintenance Availability
