Sayres Defense is seeking an experienced Junior-Level Mechanical Engineer with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DCResponsibilities:--- Provide engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipmentPreferred Specialization: DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes Qualifications & Clearance Requirements Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Entry level in program/project management/engineering--- Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS
Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates--- Master's degree in Engineering.
* Professional Engineer License
