Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to perform a leadership role on a large, mission-enabling nationwide team providing network infrastructure, platform, systems, application, and cybersecurity services for a federal customerEncompassing a wide range of tasks including but not limited to Program Management Organization (PMO) functions, Monitoring & Analysis, as well as, Incident Response functions that include cybersecurity, Network Infrastructure (Tier 3), and Field Engineering Technical ServicesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:--- Perform Deputy Program Management functions including guidance and oversight to other managers--- Engage with senior customer leadership regarding program priorities, technical, and resource issues--- Assist in the establishment, staffing, and running of a Program Management Organization (PMO) providing the following types of services:--- Knowledge Management--- Doctrine, Policy, Planning, & SOP Development Support--- Service Catalog, Relationship & Services Management Practices--- Communications Support--- Project Management Support--- Continuous Service Improvement Program--- Performance and Investment Metrics--- Capability Test, Training, and Exercise Program--- Data Call and Data Acquisition Support--- Cybersecurity Services Provider Program Support--- Apprise the Senior Program Manager of both progress and risks--- Ensure timely high-quality products to senior level customers--- Ensure rapid response to ad hoc requests for information from customers Minimum Qualifications--- Bachelor's degree, preferably but not necessarily in Computer Science or related field; equivalent work experience considered--- Five (5) to ten (10) years overall cybersecurity management experience--- Demonstrated record of managing teams and groups of more than 50 FTE--- Extensive leadership experience creating, building, and maintaining high-performing teams, particularly in a cybersecurity environment--- Knowledge of and experience involving cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, functions, and technologies--- Experience involving Network, Cloud, and Cybersecurity Monitoring and Analysis, Event and Incident Management and Response--- Experience on engineering as well as operations focused projects--- Understanding and some experience involving knowledge of computer networking--- Ability to communicate effectively cross-functional teams and customers--- Highly-organized with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills--- Ability to mentor junior staff--- Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection preferred--- Certification Requirement: CISSP Certification Desired Qualifications--- DHS experience--- ITIL certifications--- PMP or equivalent--- DOD 8570 IAM Level III and or DOD 8570 CND; and one more product vendor certs About Sev1Tech LLC Founded in 2010, Sev1Tech provides IT, engineering, and program management solutions deliverySev1Tech focuses on providing program and IT support services to critical missions across Federal and Commercial ClientsOur Mission is to Build better companiesEnable better governmentProtect our nationBuild better humans across the countryJoin the Sev1Tech family where you can achieve great accomplishments while fostering a satisfying and rewarding career progressionPlease apply directly through the website at: https://www.sev1tech.com/careers/current-openings/#/ #joinSev1tech For any additional questions or to submit any referrals, please contact: Sev1Tech is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.
