Job Title: Project Manager Location: Washington, DC Employment Class: Full-Time Position Summary: Advancia Government Services is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day to day operations of the contract This position will provide successful supervision, direction, and coordinate the activities and schedules of contract supervisors / team leads, case processing analysts, and other operational support staff across staffed labor categories. Develop quality and production / performance goals for assigned staff and monitor staff-level performance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - The Project Manager must have knowledge of and be able to perform all Contract employee duties
- Create daily processes to evaluate performance reports, identify areas of deficiency or inefficiency that require action, assign work tasks to contract staff
- Ensure the work in their section is performed in an accurate and timely manner and must report known issues/discrepancies to the Program Director
- Ensure compliance with the Government SOPs, policies, regulations, statutes, or other contract requirements.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with all government personnel, contracted employees as well as customers. Establish meetings with the NPC Director on a weekly basis to discuss production status and operational issues.
- Effectively interact with employees in his/her section, ensure their section is adequately staffed to process daily workload, and notify the Contract Program Director of issues. Education and KSA Requirements:
Education - Bachelor's Degree and 5 years direct experience in related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Six Sigma certification are highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience managing a team of 10 or more employees
- Government Contracting processes.
- Experience in some or all the following areas highly preferred:
- Project Management
- Project Planning
- Government Standard Operating Procedures
- Operational Planning
- Communication
- Operations Management
- Help Desk Support
- Case Processing Analysis Support
- Administrative Support
- Organized and detail oriented
- Emotionally intelligent
- Ability to work on own or with a team Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:
- Mainly sedentary, some standing and lifting up to 25 pounds, mainly indoors Additional Requirements:
