As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Large Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team.Position Overview: We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Large Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy construction equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.Responsibilities: - Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repairs.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices at all times.Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Large Equipment Mechanic, with a focus on heavy construction equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant education is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Large Equipment Mechanic in heavy civil construction, specifically diesel equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
