With over 36 million visits annually to the National Mall, combined with aging infrastructure and the need for better visitor amenities throughout the park, the Trust is helping the National Park Service tackle the more than $800 million needed for critical repairs and improvements. We offer competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and generous time off policies.Brief Position Summary The Technology Product Manager will lead and support the development and implementation of technology projects related to the civic education program for the Trust for the National Mall known as the National Mall Gateway, in partnership with the National Park Service. This work can include gathering requirements from partners and potential users to working with chosen vendors to implement the requirements and release them to market. The Technology Product Manager must be comfortable translating business needs to technical requirements and able to prioritize them based on feedback from a variety of stakeholders. The Technology Product Manager will execute plans for The National Mall Gateway, working directly with the Trust's Vice President of Programs and Senior Director of Special Programs. The Technology Product Manager will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with members of the TNM (Trust for the National Mall) Programs team as the project requires.Starting Salary is $125,000Responsibilities: - Act as liaison between the TNM Programs team and technology vendors and partners to define requirements and translate client needs into actionable deliverable products.
- Serve as the main point of contact for technology vendor and partners throughout meetings and processes.
- Report on progress and challenges regularly to TNM Programs team leadership.
- Define the product roadmap based on prioritized needs and feedback from various stakeholders.
- Assist with revenue generation for the program as needed.
- Ensure the platform incorporates requirements for data security, compliance, and inclusion for accessibility, language support and other needs.
- Document project requirements to enable the vendor to execute and deliver high-quality technology solutions.
- Actively participate in building organizational and team culture aligned with the Trust's values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Expertise in Microsoft Office and 360 applications including SharePoint and a facility with project management platforms such as Asana and others.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously of varied scale and complexity.
- Experience in interacting directly with clients and senior leadership staff.
- A platform and system agnostic approach to technology.
- A bias toward implementation and deliverables.
Education and Certification - Bachelor's degree (Required) in project management, technology, education and/or innovation (Preferred).
- Master's degree in an education technology related field or equivalent (Preferred).
- Licensure or certification in project management (Preferred).
Experience - Minimum 5 years' experience in technology, user experience, and/or technology relationship management (Required).
- Experience in education technology and environments, as well as AI understanding, is a plus.
