The ideal candidate will be available for 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable working in an Urgent Care or similar fast-paced environment.POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for all operations within their home clinic, maximizing results through an enhanced patient journey, high quality of care, retention of the clinic staff, and providing a strong clinic culture to meet the needs of both patients and staff.The position is required to ensure consistent implementation of company procedures and role models both proper procedures and behaviors. The successful candidate will have experience and success in problem-solving, thinking strategically as well as demonstrated customer service skills and teamwork skills.This position is also responsible for clinical patient intake, meaning applicants must be either a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Radiology Technologist (RT), etc. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESClinical:Complies with all HIPAA regulations with regards to patient privacyComplies with all OSHA safety standardsObtains pertinent clinical information including the patient's complaint, health history, and measurement of vital signsPrepares patient for examinationPrepares for all necessary procedures and treatments according to established specificationsAssists providers with examinations, procedures, and treatmentsPerforms wound irrigations, dressings, bandages wounds and incisions, and applies splints as well as other tasks ordered by the ProviderPerforms diagnostic tests including eye exams, EKG, Pulse Ox, Peak flow and throat and nasal swabsPerforms CLIA-waived lab tests; draws blood and collects, labels and processes specimens to sent to the laboratoryPerforms daily office and laboratory opening and closing proceduresMaintains emergency equipment for use at all times in a clean and safe conditionMaintains supplies, stocks exam rooms, treatment areas, and laboratory on a daily basisSterilizes non-disposable instruments and disposes of contaminated supplies and medical waste in accordance with established standardsProvides discharge instructions as ordered by the ProviderAssists the Provider and front office staff to facilitate flow through the clinic in a timely and appropriate fashionMaintains proficiency in all areas by attending in-service as requiredMaintains CPR certificationLEADERSHIPEnsures an outstanding and competitively distinct patient journeyActively utilizes and coaches the behaviors and characteristics the company has identified and communicated as critical to building a high-performance teamCreates clinic culture and maintains a highly motivated work environment by communicating regularly in a positive, motivating mannerCelebrates and recognizes Clinic efforts and resultsIdentifies leadership talent and develops employeesInvolves the entire team in Clinic event organization, encouraging initiative and ownershipEnsures Clinic policies are understood and consistently followed - champions changeLearns and leverages best practices to drive resultsTRAINING & DEVELOPMENTEncourages continuous learning and growth with all Clinic team members by optimizing role-play and validation testsDevelops future leaders through providing development plans minimum once per yearEnsures clinic team is trained effectively or recommends additional training to ensure successShares best practices/ideas for increasing patient experience/operational efficiency with head officeOPERATIONS AND SERVICE EXCELLENCEActively participates in the staffing of the clinic teamMeasures and tracks client satisfaction and responds appropriatelyHandles and tracks patient correspondence and outcomeMeasures, tracks, and celebrates successImplements best practices that support both the brand and the patient journeyRespects client privacyEnsures adequate staffing of the clinic maintaining a schedule that supports the business. This includes having a balance of opening, closing, and weekend shifts.Maintain clinic standards, ensuring the clinic is clean neat, and organizedPROFIT FOCUSED AND REPORTINGHelps develop then meet/exceed budget guidelines by the clinic for controllable expensesVerifies and completes timesheetsEnsures patient payments are recorded, accounted for, and deposited as per policyEnsures daily, weekly, and monthly operating paperwork is accurately completed and reportedCompletes weekly inventories, identifying and controlling "shrinkage" issuesCreates schedules that optimize client service and manages labor costsFinds replacements for call-outsTracks results daily, weekly and identify trends in order to ensure the right staffingBuilds community partnerships and linkagesPATIENT REGISTRATIONGreets patients and office visitors in a pleasant and professional mannerUses appropriate and professional behavior with all patients and all incoming callsObtains relevant medical and demographic information at the windowAnswers questions and gives information directly or via the telephone within the limits of knowledge and medical practice policiesRegisters patient into the computer systemVerifies insurance, if workers comp case gets authorization to treat and claim numberEnsure that all patients have a known mechanism to pay their billsWorks with MD III Billing Solutions LLC/Billing agent to update and correct entered dataEDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSPost high-school education ie: College, University or Specialist DegreeGraduation from an accredited Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nursing or Radiology Technologist programMinimum of 3 years experience in a clinical environmentPrevious successful clinic-level management experience is preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skillsA proven ability to teach, coach, and directUnderstanding of customer-service organization is a mustIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) QUALIFICATIONSExcellent customer service skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy;Must be self-sufficient, reliable, and autonomousExcellent communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated organizational ability and follow-throughProven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCreative thinker/ability to resolve critical problemsTarget oriented and believe and actively practice teamworkWork varied hours/days to perform functions of the positionAbility to work independentlyPhysicianOne is an equal-opportunity employer.
