YOUR ROLE

  • The Manager, Logistics Projects & Process will be responsible for project management support and governance across all logistics categories, as well as identifying and executing opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and cross-functional excellence.
  • This position is focused on developing an end-to-end view of logistics procurement with specific lenses on project and performance management.
  • Key responsibilities of this position include but certainly aren't limited to:
    • Partners with team lead & category managers to develop and execute global & regional strategic roadmaps; project implementations & best-in-class sourcing events.
    • Identifies and executes process improvement activities including digital & automation solutions; communications & briefing templates; etc.
    • Implements best practices & standardization in close cooperation with the regional Purchasing KAMs
    • Contributes to achievement of regional basket targets via execution of project setup & support activities; market research & benchmarking; data, forecast & trend analysis.
    • Responsible for project and process governance, reporting and tracking, including supplier relationship & performance, risk & compliance, sustainability, purchasing KPIs, cost savings and avoidance.
    • Tracks and benchmarks sourcing decisions including service levels, quality, supplier feedback; ensures governance and compliance for logistics purchasing related activities.

      YOUR SKILLS

      • We want passionate, solution-focused team members equipped with a hands-on attitude, a strategic mindset and the drive to develop into a leader within Henkel North America.
      • MBA degree with a minimum of three years of related purchasing, project management or supply chain operations experience; or four-year college degree with at least three to five years of related experience.
      • Strong communication, presentation, research, analytical & problem-solving skills with project management & continuous improvement experience.
      • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize critical projects and deadlines for multiple stakeholders.
      • Demonstrated ability to work independently; actively seeks new responsibilities for development.
      • Fluent in English is mandatory, both written & spoken; any and all other languages are a plus!
      • Proficiency with systems & tools such as SAP, Ariba, PowerBi, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)


        The salary for this role is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
