ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - The Events & Partnerships Manager will primarily be responsible for supporting Winter Park's events and brand partnerships strategies
- Ideate and strategize with the marketing managers and director to create compelling events to drive resort brand, revenue, and visitation goals
- Acquisition of multiple new summer and winter third-party events. This includes large, multifaceted, and multiday events such as festivals.
- Proactively partner with the community to create larger-scale events that drive business for both the resort and community as a whole.
- Execution of all resort events - summer and winter; including solicitation, development, coordination and attendance for all events.
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with other departments to execute events.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the production of and updates to all event-related files and materials.
- Send post-event surveys to guests, gather feedback from marketing and external departments, and relevant Village tenants to create event post-mortems to improve future events.
- Manage one direct report, an Events Coordinator. Hire and manage on-call events staff as needed.
- Prepare monthly forecast and variance budget documents for the partnerships and events budgets, and attend accompanying meetings to assist in presenting Sales and Marketing budget details
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all resort brand partnerships
- Develop strategies and proposals to leverage brand partnerships that are in line with resort brand and help achieve resort goals
- Responsible for planning, execution, and reporting for all brand partnership deliverables throughout the year
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or business-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in events, marketing, or related field required
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality required
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work under deadline pressure
