* Evaluate network security architectures
* Assess implementation of security controls
* Integrate systems into customer operational networks
* Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using
* DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as ACAS, STIG, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSS
* Apply written and oral communication skills
* Participate in the design and development of systems Basic Qualifications:--- Must be a Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate standing by Summer 2024--- Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent technical discipline.--- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearanceNote: U.Scitizenship is required as only U.Scitizens are eligible for a security clearance Preferred Qualification:--- Experience with one or more or more of the following:
* Windows Operating System
* Linux Operating System
* Scripting
* Computer Hardware and Software installation
* Ability to work under the leadership of senior engineers
* Technical writing skills
* Communication writing skills
* Specific majors: Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
* CompTIA Network+ certification
* CompTIA Security+ certification
* A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or greater
