• Trains, mentors, and coaches new employees during on-boarding
• Trains, mentors and coaches tenured employees
• Audits team performance throughout the day, reinforcing safety, policy, practice, SOP and protocol compliance
• Participates in QAPI activities for improved patient care and resident satisfaction.
• Assists with the training and implementation of new policies, procedures, SOP's and protocols
• Conducts EMR and CPR for Healthcare Providers training
• Participates in Critical Incident Stress Debriefings as a Peer Team Counselor
• Assists in the management of complex critical incidents through NIMS/ICS
• Keeps Supervisor informed of all pertinent information in a timely manner
• Ensure that the teams paperwork is properly completed and submitted each day
• Utilizes the Emergency Notification Alert System
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the SES Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor to ensure an effective, efficient and compliant SES operationEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years demonstrated outside experience as an SES Officer with EMS experience or 1 year of demonstrated internal experience as an Erickson SES Officer (with EMR certification or higher)LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
    • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
    • Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification. Instructor Certification preferred.
    • Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. Instructor certification preferred.
    • Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Peer Team Counselor. Certification preferred.
