This position is a remote position on a day-to-day basis with monthly meetups in Denver. Upon being hired training is conducted all in-person in Denver as well. All applicants who aren't located in or near Denver will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

--- Advise the client on tax planning steps they can take to ensure they fulfill all tax obligations and continue to pay the minimum amount of taxes in the future
--- Serve as a liaison between tax authorities and the client, submitting the final tax forms on their behalf
--- Tell clients about the tax process and what the deadlines are to make sure everything gets turned in on time
--- Review each tax form to make sure everything is accurate and ensure tax compliance
--- Go over the client's financial records including income statements and previous tax returns to calculate the amount of taxable income they have
--- Represent and negotiate tax debt settlements with the IRS/State on behalf of their clients

Qualifications:

--- Experience handling both basic and advanced levels of tax service, and has in-depth knowledge of the tax code, state tax laws, and federal tax laws
--- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
--- Enrolled Agent, Attorney, CPA
--- At least 1 year of tax resolution experience
--- Self-starter for problem-solving
--- This is a hybrid position on a day-to-day basis with monthly face-to-face team meetups
