Amentum is seeking a highly capable Jr. SharePoint Administrator to help manage our SharePoint environment. The successful candidate will be configuring our SharePoint platform, providing support software as necessary, and addressing and resolving any issues with the software performance. The candidate should exhibit solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and the ability to create a positive experience for end-users. An outstanding SharePoint administrator will be someone whose expertise results in smooth integration and efficient online collaboration. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS -
Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries. -
Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions. -
Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet. -
Utilize third-party tools to improve SharePoint administration efficiency. -
Performing SharePoint Farm security configuration and administration. -
Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions. -
Performing administrative tasks and documenting changes to the system. -
Providing SharePoint support and end-user training. -
Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss. -
Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data. -
Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to develop or enhance data strategies, systems, processes, and initiatives. -
Conducting regular reviews of SharePoint to analyze operating efficiency. -
Ability to create user logons and LDAP/ADFS. -
Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades. -
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree: Major Computer Science, Information Systems, or acceptable STEM at a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least 1 year of experience as a SharePoint administrator. Additional requirements: -
No clearance requirement but the contract and/or the site requires US Citizenship to be approved for access. (includes NACI / T1, MRPT, CAC): Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location. -

Demonstrated on-the-job experience in technical writing, interpersonal communication skills, and presentation/training skills. Preferred candidates will have: -
Experience with a relational database system such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. -
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365. -
Knowledge of SharePoint third-party tools, including Nintex. -
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This position requires: |
