We believe in creative thinking and collaboration to help build a better mobility experience for everyone, improving people's ability to move - whether for work or play.What we do:The Senior Accountant is responsible for the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of the company accounting systems pertaining to journal entries, general ledgers, revenue reconciliation, cash flows, etc., in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. This position designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiencies to ensure the integration of data produced into the systems. The Senior Accountant also guarantees the accurate consolidation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data and revenue.Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.What you can do:Manage General Ledger, Consolidations, and statutory reporting functions - establish performance metrics to drive accountability and measure improvementOversee general ledger accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting, including consolidations, inter-company accounting, chart of accounts maintenance, accounting for international subsidiaries, journal entry and reconciliations, flux analysis, and supporting schedulesManage the monthly financial close activities and hold participants accountable by running a disciplined close process and coordinating activities and analysis with teams across the accounting and finance organizationDrive the development of strategies to improve accounting operations efficiencies, effectiveness, and scalability, including the development and execution of policy, process and system changesParticipate in annual audits and special projects, collaborating with external auditors to provide required information and ensure proper record-keeping for historical purposesAdopt a continuous improvement approach to refine and streamline the close and audit preparation processEnsure compliance with local statutory regulations for international subsidiariesSupport the tax function with schedules and information required for timely tax compliancePrioritize and manage the IT relationship and function enhancement within the financial system for areas of responsibilityPartner with FP&A for effective hand-offs and collaboration on financial analysis and process improvementsAd hoc projects as necessary, including M&A integration and adoption of new standardsMay require up to 10% of domestic and international travelOther duties as assignedWhat you can contribute:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field requiredA minimum of 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in Big 4 accounting firms preferredMaster's degree a related field preferredExperience in IRS reporting and internal/external auditsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferredYou may also be able to contribute:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive delivery of communication and follow upExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraintsSelf-motivated and forward-thinkingProficiency with MS Office SuiteAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check.
