This strong Integrated Healthcare Organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced *Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner* or *Physician Assistant* to join their team in *San Diego, CA* on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week during office hours, *Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. *This exciting opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with inpatient responsibilities and potential for Outpatient work, allowing for professional growth and development.*Key Responsibilities:** Rounding at Senior Nursing Facilities.* Conducting follow-up visits lasting 20 minutes and evaluations lasting 40 minutes, with an average of 15-20 patients per day.* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, therapists, clinical social workers, RNs, and other Nurse Practitioners.* Handling a mix of medication management and assessments.*Qualifications:** *Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification.** Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in *California.** Experience in prescribing medications, preferably with a few years of prescribing experience.* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.*Salary and Benefits:** Competitive salary depending on experience.* Full-time Psychiatrists on staff for support.* Collaborative environment with therapists, clinical social workers, RNs, and other Nurse Practitioners.* Malpractice insurance to be covered by the individual.* 1099 Independent Contractor position.*Work Environment:** Opportunities for professional growth and development.* 1 in 5 weekends shared call schedule.Job Type: Full-timePay: $160,000.00 - $220,000.00 per yearMedical specialties:* PsychiatryStandard shift:* Day shiftSupplemental pay types:* Bonus opportunitiesSupplemental schedule:* On callWeekly schedule:* Monday to FridayWork setting:* Clinic* Hospital* Inpatient* In-personExperience:* Psych NP: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* California License (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble More...
