The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is an essential function of the position.*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** Masters Degree, MSW required.* Must possess a working knowledge of long-term care operational standards set forth in the Federal Register, Requirements of participation. Experience working with the elderly*SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:** Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.* Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.* Must have advanced training in hospital or long-term administration.* Must be knowledgeable of reimbursement regulations and nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care administration.* Must possess the ability to supervise and work harmoniously with other personnel.* Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.* Must be familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing personnel administration.* Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.* Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.* Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.* Must be able to read and interpret financial records, reports, etc.* Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.* Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.* Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.* Knowledge of charting via Minimum Data Set (MDS).* Experience completing psychosocial evaluations, social histories, cognitive, mood and behavioral assessments.* Quarterly Care Plan meeting attendance is required and completion of treatment plans within prescribed time frames.* Experience providing services to the elderly population and their families.* Familiarity of Resident Rights and Advance Directives.* Knowledge of Discharge Planning policy and procedures.* Will act as liaison and referral with psychiatric and psychological service providers as well as ancillary service providers.* Must be a team player with strong clinical skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceHealthcare setting:* Assisted living facility* Long term care* Nursing home* Skilled nursing facilityMedical specialties:* GeriatricsSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayEducation:* Master's (Required)Experience:* Social work: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble More...
