Position Overview: As a Maintenance & Safety Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment and facilities within our organization. Your primary duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and conducting repairs as needed to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. What your day may look like: - Carry out routine Preventive Maintenance on internal equipment.
- Follow the work instruction to prepare the reports and archive the records.
- May need to support other working teams, following the instruction by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules.
- Must have the ability to interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager.
- Work with outside contractors to ensure safe practices while working on Siemens grounds.
- Help streamline inspections of safety equipment and rigging gear.
For your safety, we require: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Deep understanding of safety regulations and compliances
- Understanding of rigging equipment and proper usage
- Calibration of various tools
- Strong vendor management experience
