Position Overview: As a Group Lead Manufacturing Technician, you will provide the coordination for daily duties, work assignments to all team members, closely monitor the manufacturing progress, and provide support of assigned employees. What your day will look like: - Monitors employees' safety, quality, methods, and output.
- Provides work assignments (both planned and unplanned) and work instructions to employees throughout each workday.
- Assists and trains employees in new job assignments.
- Leads the review and preparation of all new job tasks to be performed - including creating and reviewing job safety assessments for each new task.
- Coordinates work schedules with other Group Leaders and/or Supervisors and maintains work status.
- Keeps supervision informed of work plans, status, and employee performance.
- Prepares and/or reviews employee time sheets and other labor input documents.
- Assists the supervisor in conducting regular safety meetings.
- Performs information inquiries and/or transactions using computer terminals to support other duties and responsibilities - eSlic, Mpulse, iWarehouse, Maintenance Spares Parts Database, etc.
- Works from detailed engineering drawings both mechanical/electrical to identify critical components for equipment for troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
What we are looking for in a candidate: - Minimum of 2 Years' experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Demonstrated Mechanical and or Electrical aptitude.
- Proven ability to train and mentor team members.
- Experience in successfully leading a diverse team in a production environment.
- Track record of actively engaging in problem-solving and implementing effective countermeasures within assigned area of responsibility.
- High School Graduate/GED
- Candidate should have hands on and working knowledge of most maintenance skills within a manufacturing facility up to and including:
- Plans and executes assigned maintenance projects.
- Analyzes technical problems on site, and completes repairs and work orders, with specific reference to Mechanical Assembly.
We would be impressed if you had: - 3 + years of manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar MRP / ERP systems is highly desired.

The hourly range for this position is $22.29- $29.92 The role is eligible for overtime and shift differential pay for certain work schedules. The salary may be higher or lower depending on your experience and skills.
