We are Roche.The OpportunityThe goal of the Maintenance Technician I in the GenMark team is to support the development and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, instruments, fixtures, and tooling used in manufacturing, research, and development environments.This role is a night shift from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am 5 days per week.You are: - Troubleshooting Mechanical, Electrical and Software issues on GenMark's ePlex Cartridge and Consumable manufacturing equipment
- Making necessary repairs and/or adjustments to manufacturing equipment with close to moderate supervision
- Follow step-by-step instructions to perform assigned preventative maintenance on manufacturing and R&D equipment and instruments to the manufacturers' specification
- Document Equipment and Engineering activities in accordance with established procedures, company policies and FDA
- Assist with process improvement projects as directed to include the spare parts program, fixtures needed to support manufacturing, R&D, and other company needsWho you are
- You hold a High School Diploma is required with 0-2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred. FDA, cGMPs, ISO, or other regulated environment knowledge
- Good facilitation, communication, self-discipline, teamwork, and task organizational skillsPreferred
