DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Assist the Director Engineering in coordinating programs involving repair electrical, mechanical, general construction, and repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment. Included are the safe and efficient operation of building utilities systems i.e. propane gas, electric, and water
- Responsibility of completing any special projects that were the responsibility of the Director
- Act as the Director of Engineer in absence of the Director in such capacities as hiring, counseling, and training
- Supervises Engineering and related areas in absence of the Director of Engineering.
- Additional duties assigned by Director of Engineering , as needed, to further business objectives to include but not limited to meeting attendance, managing contracts, budget management, special projects
- Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous
- Be able to work PM shifts, holidays and weekends
- Coordinate and monitor all guest rooms and public spaces, equipment, and Preventative Maintenance programs to ensure the reliability, safety, and comfort of all staff and guests.
- Establish and stay current on all safety and sanitation policies and procedures that impact the property.
- Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
- Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
- Communicate with hotel department heads to become aware of maintenance needs and ensure timely response to internal requests.
- Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; completing maintenance request forms and record logs.
- Maintain franchise standards and follow-up on inspection deficiencies.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
