Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.--(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)Lifts live chickens off moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles by their legs.Operates and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever.Picks up DOA (dead on arrival) and loose chickens off the floor.Clean up feathers and other debris and deposits into gondola/tanks.Other duties as assigned.Able to repeatedly lift 4-10 lbs and to meet established company standards.Able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8-10 hrs) on concrete/metal grated floor.Able to work in dark, dirty, and dusty environment.Repetitive grasping/pushing motions, over the shoulder reaching, frequent bending required.Must submit to and pass criminal background.
