The Senior Production Maintenance Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for Perform the Installation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of varied electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant. This position is part of the Facilities & Production Equipment department located in Carlsbad, CA and will be working onsite. You will be a part of the Facilities & Production team and report to the Manager of Facilities Management responsible to perform the Installation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of varied electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Perform the Installation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of varied electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant. Diagnose a wide variety of issues associated with Filling, Capping, Labeling, conveying and miscellaneous packaging equipment. This includes rebuilding mechanical equipment, working with sensors, barcode printers and readers, motors, controllers, pneumatics, vacuum pumps and venturi's.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment, follow all written procedures and standard work. Utilize existing Computerized Maintenance Management System to document all activities, parts used, etc.
- Be comfortable being assigned to various tasks that may be outside of their area of expertise and be willing to embrace continuing process and personal improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include: - Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a team to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety manufacturing equipment including cappers labelers and fillers
- Strong critical thinking skills
