About the Role We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Counsel professional to join our team on a full-time basis. As Corporate Counsel, we're looking for someone that thrives on change, embraces challenge, is passionate about delivering exceptional legal work and will be committed to helping grow Rootly. Your main objectives will be to provide legal advice and support related to the company's business operations and activities. - You will be a reliable and responsive advisor to our internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, finance, tax, marketing, communications, and sales teams.
- Support and facilitate strategic initiatives, corporate financing, legal requirements, and compliance matters.
- Manage stakeholders effectively to achieve milestones in complex and fast-paced cross-functional projects
- Engage and empower colleagues and stakeholder groups through training and thought leadership to ensure awareness of legal issues and compliance requirements
- Contribute to the development, drafting, revision, administration, implementation, and interpretation of our company's policies, procedures, and programs.
- Preparing, negotiating, and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the company's business activities, such as vendor contracts, employment agreements, and customer agreements.
The Ideal Candidate - At least 4+ years of experience working in a law firm and/or as in-house counsel -
- Broad international experience in managing varying regulatory, corporate, and compliance regimes
- Experience in commercial negotiation in the technology sector.
