QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT: Offering a Permanent Position - Full-Time Full Time: Monday - Thursday Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one hour lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a RDA, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of patients. Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, and implant restorations- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment- Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions- Perform basic dental laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation using Eaglesoft software- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental reception area (only as needed)- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times- Follow proper aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection Experience:- Proven experience as a Registered Dental Assistant- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not required- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
