Production SupervisorWe are looking for a talented Production Supervisor to fill the role at one of the facilities held by a dairy titan. Answering to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisorwill direct the activities of the department in the areas of Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control. Location: approximately 20mins from Visalia, CAJob Responsibilities:Holding people accountable for business results including positive recognition for excellent job performance.Coaching and progressive discipline for poor job performance.Demonstrate a deep level of understanding of Lean Six Sigma Programs.Communicate effectively with managers, coordinators, and employees.Meet production schedules to achieve business goals.Manage up to 100 employees.Work with Business Unit Manager to define and scope continuous improvement/lean six sigma opportunities.Determine strategy of approach, develop, and apply necessary technical skills to deliver improvement results through lean six sigma concepts.Capture and communicate best practices/learning to enable best practice replication.Establish focus & priorities around plant key performance indicators.Complete a minimum of 3 Green Belt Projects/Year.Manage Coordinator Development/TrainingAccountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant s QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement, and ongoing maintenance.Accountable for the plant Safety Program.Assist in monitoring processes and implementing safety-related policies/programs including enforcement of LOTO, safety rounds, safety assessments, etc.Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor s degree preferred (Engineering, Business Administration, Food Science, or Related Field)3-5 years of supervisor and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing is preferred).Lean Six Sigma Trained and Certified - Green or Black Belt.Able to work flexible hoursStrong computer skills including MS Office (Word/Excel/PP), SAP/MTI, SAP/LIS, SAP/Maintenance, SAP/BI-Reporting, OEE, Mini-Tab, and Quality Companion.Ability to develop a long-range Roadmap for Continuous Improvement (CI) of operations at a plant level.Ability to establish database decision processes, challenge the status quo and motivate cross functional teams.
