Because of the nature of software development, this person must be able to adapt and be comfortable with learning and implementing new technologies, techniques and processes and enjoy challenges with 1&rsquo;s and zero&rsquo;s.<br>&nbsp;<br>Essential Functions<br>&nbsp;<br><ul>

<li>Must be able to develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.</li><li>Experience building user interface applications and back-end api&lsquo;s/databases using various programming and scripting languages.</li><li>Must be able to work well in-group problem solving situations and use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.</li><li>Must have a solid understanding of web application development processes including the software development life cycle and agile development.</li><li>This person will maintain and monitor existing and new applications.</li></ul>

&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Qualifications<br>&nbsp;<br><ul>

<li>MUST be able to take on new technologies and be flexible in Programming languages and technical concepts. </li><li>This person must have understanding and some practice with following programming languages: </li><li>Front end development&ndash; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Angular.js</li><li>Databases &ndash; NOSQL, SQL (we use both)</li><li>Server side &nbsp;- node.js / .net</li><li>Understanding/practice with OOP</li><li>Basic knowledge in Linux and Windows platforms</li><li>Familiarity with Continuous integration services/servers</li><li>General Knowledge of Version control: GIt/mercurial</li><li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized</li><li>Basic knowledge of PAAS &ndash; Heroku, AWS, Azure etc. </li><li>Ability to read and understand highly technical material </li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures</li></ul>
