Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Supervisor Transportation Mechanic or designee, employee will maintain all school vehicles, motorized equipment, and other assigned areas of the school sites. In addition, the employee will evaluate employees, prepare work schedules, supervise transportation personnel, and maintain the necessary inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment. Perform daily inspections of bus or transportation equipment, coordinate training and scheduling of drivers. Employee will assist in the hiring and discipline of supervised personnel. The employee completes work orders to promote the safety, function, and general appearance of the District equipment, and other duties as assigned.

--- Valid Class 2 California driver's license.
--- Class A or B with passenger endorsement and school bus certificate.
--- California Medical Examiners Certificate.
