This is a permanent opportunity and client is located in Emeryville, CA**<br>Prefer candidates with Pharmaceutical industry background<br>This position reports to Director, Applications and Governance to implement and internalize technology direction with business goals and objectives. Sr. BA understands existing processes and advises business to improve processes based on broad business/technology knowledge. This position supports management of vendor relationship, contracts, SLA’s and troubleshooting. In order to maintain a lean applications portfolio, this position will work closely with global business/IT resources to maintain global inventory of applications. Sr. BA will lead system and data architecture to develop excellent reference for future system expansion. This position will provide IT support for commercializing new drug in North America market. <br>MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION: <br>• Provide Subject Matter Expert level guidance on functionality of Finance, R&D, SCM and Marketing systems and processes. <br>• Provide Applications and Processes support for Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance processes to commercialize new drug in North America market. <br>• Proactively identify/analyze business process and system improvement opportunities as well as opportunities to leverage existing systems to create strategic business advantage. <br>• Manages existing R&D and Enterprise applications in alignment with business strategic goals of the organization. <br>• Finalize applications inventory and identify opportunities to harmonize applications to develop an efficient systems landscape. Maintains process maps, entity relationship diagrams, data dependency diagrams and applications relationship maps. <br>• Responsible for technology vendor relationship management in the areas of maintenance, support, contact renewal, SLA’s tracking and problem solving <br>• Act as technical liaison between help desk, business partner and vendor as required. <br>• Supports evaluation, configuration and testing of new applications. <br>• Author key documents, including Requirements, Process Flows, Use Cases, Test Scripts, End-user Training and How-Tos, and various other technical documents. <br>• Design solutions and implement applications in compliance with CSV, CFR 21 Part 11, financial internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP <br>• Supports Data Warehousing initiatives by ensuring BI architecture meets the needs of the enterprise and allows for business growth. <br>• Develop and maintains an integrated conceptual enterprise data model that represents essential data produced and consumed across Santen companies. Supports Master Data Management to drive better connection & integration of Santen Data assets <br>• Support system development standards and service management standards including change management, incident management and internal SLA’s <br>Sr. Business Analyst <br>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: <br>• Minimum 8 years of experience in increasingly responsible IT application roles <br>• Strong business analysis skills and strategic thinker. Experience in BPM and BPR <br>• Experience in supporting Sales, Finance and Supply Chain processes <br>• Experience in managing IT Partners and off-shore implementation companies. <br>• Strong solution architecture skills. <br>• Experience in following development and service management standards. <br>• Deep understanding and experience with enterprise warehouse models and BI. <br>• Prior experience in managing applications landscape at pharmaceutical company is a plus <br>• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, presentation, and communication skills. <br>• BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or Scientific discipline, MBA a plus. <br> <br>SCOPE: <br>This position will be responsible to manage an existing applications landscape. <br>List working relationships inside/outside of the organization other than your Direct Manager: <br>• Work closely with IT operations and PMO team <br>• Support various process and system owners (e.g. clinical, regulatory, finance, marketing, drug safety) <br>• Coordinates with global project managers and business analysts <br>• Works closely with IT vendors. <br> <br> <br></span> More...
