Teacher Created Materials is seeking an energetic Customer Service Representative who will be a valuable member of our Sales Operations team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the voice of Teacher Created Materials who resolves customer issues and provides solutions offering the best possible customer experience. Main responsibilities include being the first responder to provide best in class customer service on our Customer Service phone queue, Customer Service email, and to professionally greet on-site visitors as needed. Other functions include support of back-office processes, coordination of special projects, processing orders, credits, returns, and support of any administrative tasks upon request. - Plus more! Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent Customer Service skills and ability to develop positive professional relationships with our internal & external customers.
- Data entry, email correspondence, mail merge, and support for sales operations team.
- Answer Customer Service telephone calls, email inquiries, and welcome TCM employees and guests.
- Route inter-office correspondence across cross functional teams.
- Process occasional orders as needed - includes but not limited to Samples, Web, Portal, Returns, Credits, International/Direct to School/Trade orders.
- Data Validation in various systems
- Customer Creation of Trade/Individual Customer accounts
- Troubleshoot technical difficulties for customers to successfully deliver/provide digital resources.
- Cover the front desk when necessary, includes occasional mail distribution responsibilities Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Highly Organized!!!
- Excellent Customer Service Mindset
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Internet
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills - a positive and go-getter personality!
- Interact with all levels within TCM in a competent and professional manner
- Interact with sales organization in a competent and professional manner
- Internet search skills - ability to find, decipher and build database from Ministry of Education websites throughout the world
- Detail Oriented - ability to validate data, catch errors, and provide solutions
- Strong typing skills
- Strong proofreading skills
- Strong attention to details
- Positive Outlook, Accountable, responsible, and a team player
- Bi-lingual is a plus - not required!

- Ability and willingness to work overtime Physical Requirements:
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time; including at a computer.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 15 lbs.; occasional lifting and/ or moving of up to 25 lbs.
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard, mouse, and lifting or transferring of items.
- Regular travel is not expected in this position; however, travel around scheduled projects may be necessary.
