As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisor (PS), you will work directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and interventions that target specific behavior goals. - This job is ideal for those pursuing Clinical Psychology, Medicine, Social Work, or any Human Health Service looking for real-world experience. It's a terrific opportunity to get hands-on experience providing a clinical, behavioral health service without an advanced degree or credential. - Responsibilities - Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community, following the behavior intervention plan developed by the BCBA and PS.
- Data Collection: Accurately record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information during therapy sessions.
- Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring.
- Professional Development: Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy. Qualifications / Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation is required
- Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities is a plus!
- Previous childcare experience is highly preferred! -
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive and team-player attitude. -
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Compensation / Benefits
- $18-25 / hour depending on experience, degree, certifications, etc. -
