For more information, visit .Egnyte is looking for a Deal Desk Manager to support the Renewals Team and the Direct Sales Channel. This individual will make a difference by providing a mechanism to mitigate the economic impact of downsells and churn, while also assisting with other non-standard deal requests. In this position, you will partner with Sales and Renewals to ensure that the constructs of the deal are a win/win for the customer and for Egnyte, while yielding acceptable margins and scalable solutions.WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Be a critical member of global team that acts as a key enabler of deal structuring and execution with a focus on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities.
- Assist sales in developing deal strategies, help with non-standard deal requests, structuring complex deals, and ensure revenue recognition requirements are effectively managed at all times
- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies by working closely with product management,marketing,and field enablement teams
- Manage all aspects of pricing operations, including running monthly Pricing Council meetings, maintaining the source of truth for pricing, and shepherding pricing recommendations through final executive approval
- Conduct price realization analytics to extract insights andlook intocompetitive benchmarking
- Work on continuous process improvements
- Establish metrics and processes to improve business visibility and consistency of practices across geographiesYOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8-10+ years enterprise software industry experience (Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of SaaS/subscription and software licensing models
- Solid knowledge of software revenue recognition principles
- Channel experience highly preferred
- Good experience in contract management
- Strong analytical skills and financial modeling skills to help drive recommendations through completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience leading high performing teams in fast-paced environments
- Business degree
- Good knowledge of MS Excel & Salesforce CPQCOMPENSATION:
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this positionacross the U.S. is $150K-200K annually. Payvaries by work locationand may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge,and/or experience.
