The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy techniques, IV techniques, laboratory procedures, and instructional methodologies. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and engage students, and a commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.Job Description/Essential Duties - Develop curriculum and instructional materials for phlebotomy courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Deliver engaging and interactive classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions on phlebotomy techniques, safety procedures, and specimen handling.
- Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students, including constructive feedback on performance and progress.
- Organize and oversee practical skills labs and simulation experiences to reinforce learning objectives.
- Evaluate student comprehension and proficiency through assessments, quizzes, practical exams, and other evaluation methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and lab activities.
- Stay current with advancements in phlebotomy practices, equipment, and technologies to ensure program content remains up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and administrative staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success, professionalism, and ethical conduct.Rate of Pay: $730 per credit hourKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Should be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of leadership within the institution.
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) andHRISsystems.
