Registered Dietitian Long Term Care Senior Living Communities - Full-time Do you enjoy working with residents in senior living communities? Then this consulting opportunity is a perfect fit for you. Join our supportive and amazing team! We are looking for a positive and self-motivated consulting dietitian. As a Crandall Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work with senior living communities to enhance the resident's food and nutrition experience. This involves auditing sanitation, meal service, staff development, and completing assessments on residents that have nutritional concerns. You will become a key member of the dietary team. We are looking for dietitians to provide part-time services to Long Term Care Senior Living Communities. Hours required are 10 hours per day / 4 days per week. - Dietitian visits are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm local time
- Depending on location multiple consulting opportunities may be available Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments for new admits, significant weight changes, pressure injuries, dialysis, and calculate TPN and enteral nutrition for residents in long-term care.
- Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulations, corporate guidelines, and Crandall Systems.
- Clinical Charting (if required in states or corporations) weights, new admits, high-risk charting
- Nutrition education and in-service training for staff development and regulatory compliance
- Implementation of the plan of corrections
- Help prepare community for state survey Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong but friendly communication skills both written & verbal
- Someone who works well independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic computer programs
- Knowledge of long-term care and food service regulations Required:
