Sophos Speech and Academics is seeking an educator who is either Wilson certified or who would like to receive paid training to earn a Wilson certification.



Our ideal candidate is available between the hours of 8 and 4 pm, M-Th; however, instructors have the ability to make their own schedule.



Our ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, and relationship-focused.



This position will work closely with classroom teachers to best support students in dyslexia-targeted reading intervention.

Responsibilities:
--- Prepare for academic sessions
--- Built rapport with the student
--- Establish session expectations
--- Assess student academic needs
--- Provide student-centered instruction
--- Collaborate with teachers and other private instructors
--- Analyze student progress
--- Adjust instruction
--- Conference with parents

Qualifications:
--- Wilson certified or willing to earn Wilson certification
