  The Pool Technician/Operator is a key member of our Engineering team Hyatt is an equal opportunity employer. This role is responsible for the following duties:
  
  • Test and monitor chemical levels in pools and water features to meet Health Code standards
  • Add chemicals as needed to maintain proper water conditions
  • Vacuum, skim and brush pools
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Replace lighting in underwater fixtures
  • Repair and fit piping for pool equipment
  • Service, repair or replace pool pumps, filters, and heaters
  • Maintain and manage inventory and supplies
  • Follow all property safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store materials
  • Perform other tasks as needed
    
    Qualifications:
    
    • Previous pool and spa maintenance experience is desired.
    • Current CPO (certified pool operator) certification desired or the ability to obtain within 30 days.
    • Good customer skills are also required.
    • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Ability to m ove up and down stairs, ramps, and/or ladders. Hyatt is an equal opportunity employer.
