Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. - -Job Summary:The Gas Engineer will work under general direction to advance high pressure/high purity cryogenic gas delivery systems, including development of improved high pressure pump systems, improving high purity test methods, supporting the design and installation of high purity systems, and managing technical oversight of bulk gas suppliers. This position involves customer support requiring regular maintenance and testing of gas supply systems at multiple locations including domestic and international travel.Responsibilities to Anticipate:Develop high pressure/high purity cryogenic gas delivery systemsInstall and test high pressure/high purity cryogenic gas delivery systemsInternational and domestic travel to service high pressure gas systemsProvide technical oversight of bulk gas suppliersDevelop test and preventive maintenance proceduresProvide technical support to mechanics in the testing and troubleshooting of gas delivery systemsReview and approve Test Position Manuals and Test Error Analysis ReportsBasic Qualifications: - Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in product test, quality, or manufacturing with emphasis on quality compliance
- Experience with interpretation of mechanical drawings
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
