We are currently looking for -Stealth / Low Observable Materials Engineers -to work on challenging, state of the art technical projects.Do you have a passion for LO technology?Do you have a passion for Materials Engineering?If you answered "yes" to these questions, our Signature Management & Technology team at our Tucson, AZ, facility wants to hear from you!Job Summary:We are seeking mid-career to senior level Materials Engineers to join the Signature Management & Technology Team. - At Raytheon, you will be part of a team whose responsibilities span the full product life-cycle: from requirements alignment, conceptual design, modeling and analysis, component/vehicle level RCS testing, and production integration, support, and maintainability.Responsibilities to Anticipate: - Material formulation and development
- Fabrication process development
- Composites operations support
- Material testing and characterization (RF, mechanical, physical)
- Preparation of engineering documentation
- Customer and supplier interface
- Participation/leadership of and program reviews
- Project managementBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Ten (10) years of engineering experience in LO materials engineering
- Experience in Material characterization, performance testing and prediction, and/or design experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
