You will develop key technologies in the EO/IR domain to help engineers grasp the most complex aspects of energy transport, enabling the design and test of tomorrow's artificial intelligence algorithms and hardware solutions. - You will develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
- You will deploy EO or RF phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in a software implementation.
- You will enable our customer's success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
- You will work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and build environments.
- You will research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.
- You will coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.
- You will mentor and share EO or RF expertise with your team.Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
- Experience programming in C++, C, or other high order language
- Experience applying object-oriented software design
- Experience using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
- Experience with UNIX/Linux or Apple OS or Windows DOS command line
- Experience in electro-optics or in radar processing
- Experience with Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, or radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithms
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
