Job Title: FAA Assembler - Temp to Hire1st ShiftJob DescriptionThe Assembler position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of variouselectrical/electronic equipment.Job Core ResponsibilitiesUse electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standardCut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bondingFollow written and verbal instructionsComplete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limitedsupervisionPerform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordancewith company instructions and proceduresConduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to ensure correctness in accordance withcompany and/or customer drawingMaintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standardsMaintain an acceptable attendance and safety recordAdhere to all company guidelines, policies and proceduresAdditional job duties and tasks as neededAssist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as neededComplete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / SupervisorJob SpecificationsEducation: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experienceExperience: Minimum of 2 years prior related work experience in an electrical/avionics manufacturing/testing environmentSkills:Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in EnglishEffective oral and written communicationMust be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as neededProficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assignedUse hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gunLift and Carry up to 30lbsAble and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcoholscreeningsAble to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operationCapable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedentsor proceduresSkilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or solderingAbility to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions,policies and proceduresExperience with MS Office SuiteGood manual dexterity required to work with small partsApproximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking about in-door Company facilitiesUse head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-sidePerform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both handsAssembler - 10.2021 Page 2 of 2Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelfPush and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloadedMinimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling,exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfacesby Jobble More...
