Currently we are hiring for all shifts, including a night driving shift for dark drops.--Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To--Meets with dispatcher for route and product information (manifest) for days deliveriesCompletes visual and hands on inspection of delivery vehicle (Tractor/Trailer)Checks vehicle oil and water levels, tires, blinkers, leaf springs, horn, headlights, and flashers for proper operation. Loads hand truck andor pallet jack in truckNotifies dispatcher of departure time and first stopDrives to customer location, either a retail location or general food serviceBacks into loading dock or pulls into loading zoneChecks in with customer and receives instructions on where to drop productUnloads pallets of product and transports using electric pallet jack to customer desired locationIf requested, driver will down stack product from palletUses hand truck to move individual boxes at certain stopsReceives signature on invoiceLoads pallet jack back on truck with empty palletsLoads returns on truckDrives to next stop and repeatAt end of shift, returns paper work to dispatcherOff loads pallets and pallet jack. Unhooks trailer at dock, and drives tractor to parking area for semi tractors. Install and remove tire chains as needed----Flexibility to work nights and do dark drops may be requiredOther duties as assigned--QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience--One year verifiable driving experience with a Class A , AK Driver's LicenseDelivery experience preferredClean Driving RecordClean Criminal Record----Current Medical CardAbility to pass pre-employment drug testAbiliyt to push/pull/lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly----Hear from Charlie's employeesSupplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.We do not provide H1-B sponsorships at this time.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
