Our RRT Staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, *100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to $10K for student loan payments. **Requirements:** *NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)** *Respiratory Therapist License issued by the State of Alabama** *Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications **About the Job:** Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.* Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.* Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.* Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.* Initiates, monitors and manages patients oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.* Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.*We know its not just about finding a job.
