Job Description The candidate will work with customers and other project stakeholders to provide software development support for various software products supporting Army Aviation programsDuties and responsibilities will include: Work on an Agile development team, designing, implementing, documenting, building, and unit testing software in a platform-independent software development environment.
Collaborate with other software developers and systems engineers to ensure quality products and interoperability with other system components during design, implementation, and integrationBasic Qualifications Candidate must have a minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent field from an accredited university or programCandidate should also be a U.Scitizen and a resident of the Huntsville, Alabama area alreadyStrong knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (C++, C#, Java, etc.)
Experience with database interfaces
Experience with gdal-warp and down sampling
Experience with quantized mesh for 3D terrain tiling
Object Oriented Analysis and Design methods
Agile software development processes
Strong mathematical proficiency
Understanding of object-oriented concepts and complex data structure.
Knowledge of Army aviation system architectures a real plus.
Experience providing software engineering and development support for Army Aviation is highly desirableOther Qualifications Visual Studio Code, Git, Atlassian Tools & GitLab
C++/C# and Typescript/JavaScript Development
Experience with Fortify Static Code Analyzer
Experience with cesium and aurelia
