Your Impact: Jacobs is searching for a Mid Full Stack Developer to join our team in Huntsville, ALYou will be working in Department of Justice organization that's mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insightsThe entire section works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization toolsThe section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the missionThe Full Stack Developer Mid position is a part of a team that designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applicationsIn addition to standard development, the team also has a focus on automating tasks utilizing a fully implemented CI/CD pipelineThe team utilizes agile methodologies to plan projects and tasks and break them down into 2-week sprintsThe team is made up of cloud engineers and developers working closely together to complete projects for the customerWe are looking for developers that want to implement and learn cutting-edge cloud technologies and services to support our customer and their multiple national security missionsThe developer should have extensive Java development experience with significant experience in front-end designThis is an exciting opportunity for cleared talent with a Secret clearance to obtain a Top Secret clearanceEstimated time to complete the clearance sponsorship process is approximately 12-15 monthsOnce the Top Secret clearance is fully adjudicated and a position is available, the candidate will be eligible to work on the program#divergent Here's what you'll need:--- Active Secret Clearance--- 4 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).--- Experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.--- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline--- Experience with the development of RESTFul Web Services--- Experience Developing in the AWS Cloud Environment Preferred:--- Experience with the AWS API--- Experience with Postgres and Oracle Databases--- Experience with OpenSearch and SOLR--- Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools--- Excellent written communication skills--- Must be able to work in a team environment--- AWS GovCloud / SC2S Experience--- Python Boto Experience--- Git and GitFlow Experience--- GitLab / GitLab Runner Experience--- AWS certifications--- JIRA and Confluence reporting and analysis More...
