Our Windows Infrastructure team provides support and maintenance of our Microsoft products (i.e. Windows Server OSes, File Shares, Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Microsoft Defender, Access Management) widely used across the UMB enterprise. They ensure these applications and services are performing at peak capacity to avoid any business disruption. As a Windows Systems Engineer , you will be supporting our Windows server environments, Active Directory Domains, ADCS, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, and Access Management used across the UMB enterprise. As you grow in technical expertise in one or more areas of specialization as well as leadership capabilities, your position and role within the team would advance and reflect this growth accordingly. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which involves other multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership. This role is hybrid (Tue & Wed on-site) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of Kansas City area but only within the US. How you'll spend your time: -
Routinely work with vendors, project managers, technical team members, application owners, and end users to maintain and improve performance of the Windows offerings, Active Directory environments, malware and virus protection, and systems management needs. -
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory (AD). -
Ensure Systems are protected from malware and viruses and are properly monitored. -
Provide support for Certificate Lifecyle Management (Enterprise) which would encompass implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. -
