OnsiteAbout Us: At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling - to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggressionWe bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threatOur team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure worldJob Summary: The Digital, RF and Power Products Team is seeking a Senior Engineer with strong PCB layout skills to join our team as an ECAD designerOur mission is to develop best in industry technologies that align product capabilities to the needs of our customerWe will empower our people to leverage design commonality and innovation, balancing risk and rigor, to achieve predictable and affordable solutionsWe are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today's cutting-edge technologyThis position is an onsite roleResponsibilities to Anticipate: Responsible for printed circuit board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing including library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, gerber / ODB++ file creation and all documentation using the Mentor Graphics toolsetDesigns include PCBs as well as flex assemblies and rigid-flex assembliesResponsible for interfacing with electrical, mechanical and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplishedJob responsibilities will include providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsAn understanding and wide application of technical theories and concepts in the field of PCB design and manufacturingCandidate will be expected to begin design tasks on day oneBasic Qualifications:--- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR, in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required--- Experience with Xpedition environment and/or equivalent software tool suite--- Experience to include 3 of the following:--- Placement--- Routing--- Use of the auto-router--- Constraint Manager--- xDM and/or xDM Library Client and/or equivalent library--- Experience in PCB design skills using mentor Graphics or equivalent design tools--- Experience designing complex analog, digital, RF, and/or mixed technology PCBs The ability to obtain and maintain a U.Sgovernment issued security clearance is requiredU.Scitizenship is required, as only U.Scitizens are eligible for a security clearancePreferred Qualifications:--- Active Secret DoD security clearance--- Experience with multi-layer designs with HDI technology and/or high-speed routing including DDR circuitry--- Da_lms experience, Board Station with use of Librarian, Layout and Fablink is highly desired.--- Mechanical design skills sufficient to be able to understand and interpret complex mechanical drawings as they relate to PCBs--- Use of BluePrint to create complex PCB drawings.--- Skills in Mentor's Library Management System--- Working knowledge of military and commercial design standards, GD&T techniques and overall producibility considerations related to electronic packaging design is required--- Export manufacturing data of both Gerber and ODB++ and use of Design Rule Checking software--- Must be able to develop technical solutions to complex problems through use of ingenuity and creativity with minimal supervision--- Candidate must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work autonomously while establishing schedule and priority needs--- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a team environment--- Previous leadership or mentoring roles What We Offer: Whether you're just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package that goes above and beyond with compensation;
