Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our integrated healthcare team. The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in managing medication therapy and improving patient outcomes. This role requires a deep knowledge of pharmaceutical therapy, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Reviewing and executing physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster Maintaining full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products Monitoring patients' drug therapies to avoid interactions, and advising interventions as needed Preparing and reviewing dosage and instructions to ensure drugs are correctly and safely supplied and labeled (pharmacovigilance) Liaise with healthcare providers and patients to accurately deliver prescription information Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and assistants Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and medical ethics Proficient in pharmaceutical software and understanding of the medication management Strong organizational and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain professional and empathetic in all situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active state Pharmacist license is required Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy Specialties (BCPS) preferred More...
