Job Description UW Health is seeking a Pharmacist Supervisor for a job in Middleton, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pharmacist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid role, when onsite, you will work at the Pharmacy Services Building in Middleton, WI. Be part of something remarkable Help lead a team of pharmacy professionals at the 1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Supervisor, Pharmacy Authorization to: - Supervise daily operations of a team of medication access specialists and coordinators, providing direction, support, workload management, and performance oversight. - Lead integration and coordination efforts across multiple UW Health medication related prior authorization and support programs, ensuring aligned processes, clear communication, and consistent service delivery. - Serve as a subject matter expert on Medicare and commercial payer reimbursement requirements, including Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs), prior authorization criteria, and both medical and pharmacy benefit billing mechanisms. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience, preferably as a prior authorization supervisor. Pharmacy level expertise is essential. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in health care field. Experience in lieu of education will be considered in addition to required work experience.
