Job Overview The Talent Development Specialist plays an active role in supporting Komatsu's initiatives to create a culture of continuous development and growth. This person makes sure that our learning/training programs run seamlessly from beginning to end enabling a positive and impactful employee experience. The role sits within our Human Resources department, more specifically Talent Development, and supports a variety of business entities globally. Key Job Responsibilities - Contributes to program design, implementation and sustainability in talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and other programs as assigned.
- Designs instructor-led in-person/virtual, and eLearning training, supporting materials/resources/toolkits and information sessions based on adult learning and instructional design methodologies.
- Facilitates learning to a variety of audiences, including leaders and individual contributors.
- Collaborates with others to market, communicate, and promote information to all levels of employees.
- Partners with the HRIS team to manage content in the Learning Management System and serves as the primary contact/administrator in Talent Development for reporting needs.
- Administers all invoices for Talent Development, ensuring timely payments and charge backs to respective departments.
- Supports other administrative needs of the Talent Development team as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements Required Skills - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in talent management, training, or organizational development.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in talent development, training, or organizational development will be considered.
- Excellent written, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, ability to create plans and meet deliverables on multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and motivation to deliver high quality products and services.
- Good organizational skills with the desire to improve efficiency in processes.
- Willingness to travel to different facilities, on occasion.
