This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future. Job Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Conduct RF design and optimization for the deployment of the first standalone 5G broadband network in the US
- Manage propagation modeling, prediction, and equipment/power configurations for Macro Cell deployment
- Collaborate with eNB/RAN and UE teams to develop RF solutions, including site-level RF link budget adjustments
- Evaluate and select site candidates, perform site walks, and coordinate call testing and optimization activities
- Work with RF Management to set design criteria, perform traffic analysis, and update performance parameters for continuous improvement
- Lead projects independently, coach junior engineers, and develop innovative solutions to complex RF engineering challenges
Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: - BSEE/BSCSdegree and/or at least 5+ years of relevant LTE RF Design working experience
- 6+ years overall wireless experience in Design/Optimization or Operations roles including RF support of site acquisition and site construction teams
- Related degree and experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of BSEE/BSCS
