Key Responsibilities - Design low voltage application circuits such as sensor interface circuits, vehicle communication (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, SPI, etc.) interface circuits, microcontroller, system basis chip, and other low voltage circuits; circuits may be used for high voltage / high power applications (including Inverter, On-Board Charger (OBC), DCDC Converter, etc.) in our current and future EV platforms.
- Perform circuit simulations and worst case analysis.
- Perform bench testing for circuit verification.
- Create test plans and for series production.
- Develop end-of-line testing.
- Provide input to circuit safety analysis hardware, including DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA.
- Participate in the development of Design Verification (DV) activities.
- Participate in the development of Process Validation (PV) activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis for test failure reports and field returns.
- Contribute to overall conformance to well-adopted international standards including ISO26262, as well as global regulatory requirements. Education Required
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience Required
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in relevant field or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with minimum of five (5) years of experience in relevant field.
- This position requires practical knowledge in design of embedded system circuits, communication interface circuits, and other low voltage circuits; knowledge of applications of such circuit to power electronic products for EV powertrain such as Inverters, On-Board Chargers (OBC), high voltage Battery / Battery Cell Monitoring Systems (BMS / CMS) and DCDC Converters are a big plus. Hands-on experience in embedded circuit hardware development: design, debugging and validation. Preferred Qualifications: (In addition to required):
